Get Your Garden Ready!

We all know gardens will add value to a property however its more common for sellers to focus on the house, rather than the garden. We spring clean, wash windows, change carpets and even paint when preparing to sell but so many won’t prepare their garden??? Now that the sun has finally come out its time to show the garden some TLC.

Like many I am not naturally green figured and would much rather sit back with a book enjoying the sun in my garden over cutting grass or digging weeds. So here are some tips to quickly turn your garden around and have it ready to present for viewings without spending a fortune.

1.  Cut the grass, a clean cut lawn makes the garden feel bigger.

2. Don’t forget the bees. Keep a section of grass long at let the wild flowers grow, placing some decorative rocks around it make a feature.

3. Cut back trees to a neat and manageable finish.

4. Broken fences are a BIG No No! and not too expensive to replace.

5.  Sweep up the leaves, pull up the weeds and neatly put the bikes in the corner.

6.  Pressure wash the path, drive and patio.
